Mikuláš Čížek je herec působící v Praze. Narodil se v roce 1989 v Pelhřimově. Po studiu herectví na DAMU (2008 – 2013) byl tři roky v angažmá ve Studiu Ypsilon. Od roku 2017 působí jako herec na volné noze. Hraje v divadle Minor, v Národním divadle, v divadle Komedie a spolupracuje s divadlem Krutý krtek.
Před kamerou se objevil mimo jiné ve filmu David a v seriálech Rapl II, Doktor Martin, Dáma a Král, Specialisté, Polda či v krimisérii Hlava Medúzy. Nejčerstvěji ho můžete vidět v komediálním seriálu Gumy. Zahrál si také v několika zahraničních seriálech jako např. Last Visa či Borgia a má za sebou dvě desítky reklamních spotů, ve kterých spolupracoval s mnoha českými i zahraničními režiséry (např. Guy Ritchie, Craig Gillespie).
Má také zkušenosti s moderováním, namlouváním voiceoverů pro reklamní spoty a rozhlasovými hrami.
Se svou rodinou žije na Vysočině nedaleko rodného Pelhřimova.
Mikuláš Čížek is an actor performing in Prague. Born 1989 in Pelhřimov, the Czech Republic, Mikuláš studied acting at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (2008-2013). After the graduation, he had been a member of Studio Ypsilon ensemble for three years and, since 2017, he is a freelancer. Mikuláš performs in the Minor Theatre (children’s repertoire), the National Theatre, collaborates with the theatre group Lachende Bestien and with the Cruel Mole Theatre (Krutý krtek).
His on-camera appearances include, for example, a film David and a number of Czech TV series such as, Rapl II, Doctor Martin (the Czech version), Lady and the King or The Specialists. Most recently, he finished the work on The Cop series and the Medusa’s Head crime series, a project by the Czech Television.
Moreover, he got involved in several foreign series, such as Last Visa or Borgia, and performed in two dozen of TV advertisements both in the Czech and foreign production, with directors including, for example, Guy Ritchie or Craig Gillespie.
His activity then also covers event hosting, TV advertisement voiceovers and radio plays.
Mikuláš lives with his family at the Czech-Moravian Highlands near his hometown Pelhřimov.
